BYOGON, PX-109 F.A.Q.

Is BYOGON  a harmful or hazardous product?
No, BYOGON is made from select plant ingredients and is not harm ful to humans, fish, animals or the environment. It is especially not harmfulto your septic tank.

What are the active ingredients of BYOGON?
"Xeronine" is the active ingredient in BYOGON that makes it work. This alkaloid is also found in popular health preparations made from the noni fruit. BYOGON is not packaged nor intended for human consumption.

Can I use BYOGON to control odors in ostomy bags?
Yes. We have found that between six and eight drops will effectively treat ostomy bags for odor control.

What makes BYOGON work?
BYOGON works on the existing bacteria in your waste water system. Whether you have a septic tank or a grey or black water tank in your Recreational Vehicle or Watercraft, BYOGON works by "reinvigorating" the existing bacteria in your system. BYOGON will NOT WORK if there are no bacteria in that system. This means if you pour excessive amounts of bacteria killing products, like bleach, into your tanks, BYOGON will not work. Even some of the additives on the commercial market may have bactericides in them. These are not needed, nor are they recommended.

If I pour too much into my portioning device, what should I do?
Go ahead and use the amount you have poured out of the container. Do not pour any back into the original container, and remember, try not to let your BYOGON freeze.
