ABOUT BYOGON, PX-109

BYOGON, PX-109, was initially patented by Research Corporation of the university of Hawaii upon discovery of a new alkaloid,"Xeronine." This alkaloid is a cell growth accelerator that acts as an "on-switch for biological activity. The application of this 100% liquid plant extract basically begins the reinvigoration of the bacteria that are present in your wastewater system, BYOGON is not bacteria, nor is it an enzyme. It is totally different than the additives that are currently on the market today. It does more, and cost less too!

The bacteria in your system get: HAPPY! HAPPY! HAPPY!

For many years, we have had the opportunity to utilize our product in the treatment of wastewater. Most of our applications have been directed towards the safe, cost efficient and environmentally friendly elimination of odors, greases and sludge within these systems. We have been successful in stimulating the biological activity present to eliminate and reduce these problematic areas, resulting in tremendous savings for our customers. The application of our technology can be used to treat tremendous amounts of wastewater with only OUNCES of BYOGON! As a satisfied customer, please spread the word about BYOGON to the folks that treat your waste water in your hometown, We would be grateful. BYOGON has an excellent track record reducing odors, greases, solids and related disposal expenses. Please refer them to our web page at www.byogon.com. This is wastewater treatment for knowledgable professionals.

HOW BYOGON, PX-109 ELIMINATES ODORS, GREASE AND SLUDGE

Grease before BYOGON
was applied.

These pictures show a small wastewater plant with grease accumulation before and after
BYOGON, PX-109
was applied.
This process takes about
3 weeks.

After BYOGON is applied,
grease is gone.

Well, basically, your HAPPY BACTERIA begin overcoming some of the limiting conditions in your tanks. We have the indicators of wastewater strength actually be reduced. Odors, if present, are eliminated. The amounts of grease that end up in your system to accumulate in the tank and lateral lines begin to soften as the bacteria reduce their presence. Organic sludge that has accumulated is also reduced. The lateral lines going to your drain field receive the benefits and any organic deposits also begin to disappear. These clogged lateral lines begin to open up, also increasing the efficiency of your system. They are utilized in the biological process; you started a biological engine that has certain requirements to function. PH improves, as a direct result of the improvement in the wastewater conditions. Pathogens are eliminated. Your system is functioning more toward the way is was designed to function, naturally.
In some states, some of the new regulations involving AEROBIC on-site systems require that effluent flow be treated for the elimination of odors and pathogens. The use of BYOGON is a cost effective replacement for chemical additives. Contractors and small wastewater plant operators may contact us directly for product packaging in larger containers.

WHAT IS A SEPTIC TANK?
A septic tank system consists of a large, watertight tank that receives wastewater from your home plumbing system. Water from your cooking, washing, showers, bath, laundry and toilets makes up your wastewater flow. The tank is followed by an underground drainfield, which consists of a network of perforated pipe or chambers for distributing partially treated water from the septic tank to the soil for final treatment and disposal. A rule of thumb amongst wastewater professionals will say a person will use 100 gallons of water per day.

BYOGON works on anaerobic and aerobic bacteria.
With BYOGON, your system is not working "well," its working GREAT!

After your septic system has been placed into service, the proper operation and maintenance of the system will insure continued efficient service and prevent sudden replacement expense. The septic tank and drainfield are designed and installed to handle a calculated daily wastewater flow. If you continually exceed the design flow, the system will eventually overload and cause failure. The tank may receive more organic loading faster than it can effectively treat them, and the drainfield may become saturated from excessive water use.

There are BUNCHES of products that are available on the market today that are said to start up, accelerate, or improve the action of the septic tank. Enzymes, adding more bacteria, throwing in some yeast or dogfood sounds good too, but because BYOGON acts through the BIOSTIMULATION process, through the natural stimulation of the bacteria you already have, it is simply the best product available.

BYOGON has been approved for use for home septic tank applications, and through this approval process verified its acceptability to meet groundwater standards and extensive tests by State certified laboratories

There is nothing on the market that does what our technology can accomplish. REMEMBER, NO OTHER ADDITIVES ARE NEEDED NOR RECOMMENDED!

MAINTENANCE OF YOUR SEPTIC SYSTEM
Maintenance of your septic system will depend largely on the organic loading and individual household wastewater characteristics. With ordinary use and care, a septic tank should not require pumping out more than once every three to five years. We recommend periodic inspections by a licensed professional to determined the amount of accumulated sludge and grease and to evaluate your system. In fact we recommend inspection before your start a BYOGON program, so that you can evaluate the amount of sludge, odors and grease in your system before you take the BIOSTIMULATION approach.

Remember, additional waste from a kitchen garbage disposal, puts an extra load on your septic tank system. You must take this into consideration when you address the entire size of the tank, as well as the frequency of the scheduled pumping to remove the additional solids. You may want to increase your BYOGON dosage too!

BYOGON will increase the performance of your system, but it is not recommended as an alternative treatment to avoid normal preventative maintenance.

Failure to pump out a septic tank system when needed will result in solids or greases overflowing into the drainfield, which in turn may become clogged and stop functioning. If this occurs not only will the tank need to be pumped out, but you may also have to face the expensive cost of replacing a drainfield.

You should only use experienced professionals when you choose a firm to pump out your septic tank. They are licensed and permitted by your local health department, and will pump the entire contents of your tank into a tank truck and dispose of the contents in an approved and sanitary manner.
